Super Value Bulb Collection comprises the following varieties: Narcissus 'White Lion' (10 bulbs) - Large, double blooms of Daffodil 'White Lion' are formed from multiple layers of sunshine yellow and cream petals, for a beautiful display in spring borders. The sturdy, vertical stems make this variety a superb cut flower. Height: 35cm (14"). Spread: 15cm (6"). Crocus Sativus (30 bulbs) - Striking purple flowers burst into colour just as autumn chills begin to set in. Plant through borders and rockeries or fill patio pots for a stunning display. The Saffron Crocus enjoys deep planting in gritty soil and plenty of sun. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 5cm (2"). Hyacinth Breeders Selection (8 bulbs) - A compact variety with shorter stems that are packed with colourful blooms that exude a heavenly perfume. Excellent for spring displays in borders or pots indoors. Hyacinth flowers make wonderful cut flowers too. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 8cm (3"). Puschkinia libanotica (50 bulbs) Dazzling white flowers appear in dense clusters, each vibrantly striped with light blue. This vigorous bulb is tough and reliable, coping in almost any free draining soil, and enjoying hot summers when their bulbs can bake in the sun. Grow them in borders and rockeries, or naturalise in grass. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 10cm (4"). Iris Dutch Mixed (50 bulbs)- A favourite amongst florists, the magnificent, architectural flowers appear from tall, upright stems which are perfect for cutting. Alternatively plant Iris 'Dutch Mixed' in groups for a fantastic display in late spring and early summer. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 15cm (6").

Growing Information

Plant spring bulbs in sun or semi-shade on well drained soil. Alternatively, grow bulbs in containers of loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Plant the bulbs at a depth of approximately 3 times their own height.
