Certified Organic

The organic vegetable seeds in this collection have been produced without using synthetic fertilisers or pesticides. They’ve been raised in a way that is beneficial for the soil and the environment, and they’re also great for pollinators and other insects. Welcoming pollinators into your garden is a lovely natural way to protect your veg from pests, so it’s good news all around!

Why grow organic vegetables?

There’s something deeply satisfying about serving your family a plate of homegrown organic veg! When you grow organically, you can be safe in the knowledge that you know exactly what has gone into producing your food. This is especially important for vegans and we offer a range of organic and vegan plant feeds to help you grow.

We’ve carefully chosen more than 50 organic vegetable seeds so, if you’ve been meaning to take the first step towards an organic garden, this range is a perfect place to start.

Does ‘organic seeds’ mean ‘non-GMO’?

Yes, organic seeds have not been genetically modified.

How long can I store vegetable seeds?

Correctly stored, many vegetable seeds will be viable for several years. To get the best germination, sow them the year you buy them and before the ‘best before’ date on the packet. However, if seed is stored in a dry, dark and cool place, some of it will germinate if kept for anything between two and six years depending on the vegetable. Parsnip, onion and sweetcorn seeds are best used fresh.
