Sowing Period

This baby snapdragon is a real charmer, with gorgeous sunset colors of coral, yellow, and red, bringing an unusual color palette into the garden. This baby snapdragon has an airier habit than the stockier bedding snapdragons, with dainty blooms held on long, slender stems on upright panicles. This allows them to blend in with other border plants while also making lovely container specimens. They also make long-stemmed cut flowers that can be kept in a vase for up to two weeks. A very simple and quick-growing hardy annual that blooms in as little as 6 weeks and flowers for up to 2 months. If allowed, plants will happily self-seed. The prestigious Fleuroselect Industry Award was bestowed upon it. 50 cm (20") tall. 25 cm (10") spread.

Sowing Information

Can be sown directly into a well-prepared seed bed in May-June or in September for early spring flowering the following year.

Alternatively, sow February to April on the surface of good quality seed compost, covering with a fine layer of vermiculite or compost. Germinate at 20-25C (68-77F). Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 5-21 days. Do not exclude light at any stage, as this helps germination.

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions before planting out after all risk of frost, 20-25cm (8-10in) apart.

Suttons strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.

Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. We are committed to finding a way that we can resume or normal services again as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvience caused.

All Suttons products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days. We are only liable for the cost of the goods as quoted on the website plus the cost of delivery if the goods are faulty.
