Seeds to Sow in February

It can prove a busy time of the year for gardeners as it’s time to make early sowings of many summer bedding plants, such as geranium, petunia, impatiens (busy lizzie) and nicotiana along with some perennials.

Wondering which vegetables to sow in February? Now’s the time to sow early carrot, parsnip and broad beans outside. In a greenhouse or a warm propagator, sow chillies, cabbage, celery, parsley, peppers, tomato, leek and onion seeds.
