Thanks to breakthrough breeding, the Armeria Dreameria series has become one of the longest-flowering Armerias available. Unlike other varieties that bloom only in mid to late spring, Armeria Dreameria 'Dream Clouds' produces an abundance of blooms from April until the first frosts. Its larger-than-average flowers, resembling pom-poms, are displayed on slender stems that rise above tidy mounds of evergreen, grassy foliage. Once established, 'Dream Clouds' is drought-tolerant, making it an ideal choice for challenging spots like coastal gardens, rockeries, dry banks, or patio containers. It also works beautifully for softening the hard edges of landscapes, whether nestled in crevices of paving and walls or edging borders and pathways. The blooms attract bees and other beneficial pollinators, making it a great option for wildlife-friendly gardens. Height and spread: 25-30cm (10-12in). Plant size varies seasonally, so we list by pot size rather than a fixed plant measurement. The plant's height and spread upon arrival will depend on the season, with the images serving as a general guide.

Growing Information

Plant Armeria in full sun on well drained soil. Sea Thrift is tolerant of poor sandy soils once established and copes well in coastal areas. On heavier soils, incorporate plenty of grit to improve drainage, prior to planting.

While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.

Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. All Suttons products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days.
